Developer XII Braves announced today that the highly anticipated launch of Shining Beyond would be delayed until 2020. Here is an excerpt of their official announcement:
A heartfelt thanks from all of us here on the Shining Beyond team, for your patience throughout our development.
Throughout this time, the team has worked closely with publishers and testers, fine-tuning and polishing this project that has evolved into something far bigger than initially envisioned. This pushes our first official launch in select regions to Q1 2020, a little later than our initial projection of the end of 2019.
XII Braves, the Singaporean developer of Valiant Force, describes the game as an online multiplayer “Idle-action Hybrid” role playing mobile game. Shining Beyond boasts over 50 collectable and customizable heroes that team up in parties of 4 to take down content ARPG style. Co-op modes of play have also been announced.
In a World enslaved by Darkness, a small group of heroes band together in defiant resistance. Their aim is to rise up against the New Empire, and shine beyond the darkness, becoming a force for hope against this Tyranny.
Shining Beyond is currently running a pre-registration campaign where they have reached 300,000 out of an ultimate goal of 500,000. You can pre-register here.
